23 JulBid Awarded for Phase 2 of Hwy 16 Extension
The Idaho Transportation Department has awarded the contract for construction of phase 2 (Phyllis Canal) of the Highway 16 extension project to Concrete Placing Company, the same Idaho company that is currently constructing the phase 1 Boise River Bridge Crossing. The Idaho Transportation Board voted last Thursday to approve $180 million in road projects, including the Meridian Interchange. Construction is slated to begin in 2014.
